💁🏻♀️ Advantage
- The marketing team, customer service team, and sales team can access and view customer data stored in the Customer data hub through the integration of MAAC and CAAC. This integration provides a 360-degree view of customer(contact) data, including contact information such as gender, phone number, and email address, as well as any notes or tag data associated with the customers(contacts).
⚠️ After September 11, 2023, the original customer data platform (CDP) will be renamed as Customer Data Hub. ⚠️
⚠️ After 2024/05/13, the Customer data hub will be changed to dual products (MAAC/CAAC), both of which must be turned on simultaneously before they can be used ⚠️
⚠️ If you originally only enabled CDH for a single product, please follow the setting instructions below to reconnect ⚠️
💡 Reminder:
- To ensure a consistent terminology experience across different products and the Customer data hub, once the integration is enabled, including MAAC and CAAC products, your customer segment will be referred to as "Contacts."
- In preparation for the integration, the note field for the same contact in MAAC and CAAC will undergo data merging before going live. If there are any differences in the notes, they will be combined. If the note field is empty in either product, it will be synchronized with the data from the other product.
➤ Plan Availability
- MAAC all users not only leverage MAAC's marketing features but also utilize CAAC's conversational capabilities, also have the need for data synchronization between the two platforms.
▶︎ Operational Mode
Customer data hub stores customer contact information from both MAAC and CAAC. The data integration feature between Customer data hub and MAAC/CAAC is not enabled by default in the MAAC and CAAC backends. However, once you enable the integration between any MAAC/CAAC instance and CL CDP, you will be able to view the tags from Customer data hub within the MAAC/CAAC platforms. Please refer to the following image for an example of viewing Customer data hub tags in MAAC.
To ensure that your contact information is correctly updated in both Customer data hub and the other integrated product, once you enable the integration with Customer data hub, any updates made to the contact information such as email addresses, phone numbers, etc., will trigger an update event in both the Customer data hub and the other integrated product where the integration is enabled.
