Retargeting can help you automatically remind friends of uncompleted items in their shopping carts, saving cart orders, increasing LINE OA channel conversion rates, and increasing revenue!

▶︎ Setting Steps
If you have never set up a retargeting, click on "Create" and you will be taken to the following settings.
- If you set a retargeting interval, friends will receive a retargeting message at the exact time a few hours after the item is added to the cart but not yet checked out. Assuming a 4-hour interval, the friends add items to the shopping cart between 14:00-14:59 (the tracking system will recognize that the friends add items to the shopping cart at 14:00), so the friends will receive a retargeting message at 18:00.
🚨 Attention:- If the GA of the brand that was integrated with MAAC is GA4, it is recommended to set the retargeting Interval to be more than 24 hours because of the data delay in GA4 (after actual testing, the 36-hour retargeting interval is quite good! )
- If you set a Do-not-disturb Interval, friends will not receive retargeting messages repeatedly within the set number of days. Suppose the set number of days is 3, and the friends receive retargeting messages on the 1st day, then the friends will not receive the reminder for the next 3 days, and will receive the reminder only on the 4th day.
- Set the sleep mode to prevent friends from being disturbed by retargeting messages during sleep time.
After completing the settings, you can start to create the retargeting campaigns. - Set Name
- Select a template, you can choose the "Retargeting" template.

Please remember to direct friends to the shopping cart page of the e-commerce website and set up UTM to track the performance.

If necessary, you can save it as a draft and come back later to finish editing it.

You can click "Template" to save it as a template for next time use, or switch templates to choose a different version to use

You can send a test message to internal staff for confirmation

You can select a schedule and set a specific time for pushing
🚨 Attention:
- UTM should be set differently each time to see the difference in performance.
- It is not recommended to modify the UTM in the middle of the process. If you need to change the UTM, please create a new retargeting campaign directly, and do not leave a time gap between the changing.
- The retargeting campaign data will be updated every time a new period is created.
For example, even if the retargeting campaign rules are set up on 10/1 (complete the shopping cart and then sell the "Settings" at the top right), and the period from 10/5 to 10/31 is opened, friends who add items to the shopping cart from 10/1 to 10/4 will not receive the retargeting messages between 10/5 to 10/31.
➤ Please check the following information first to ensure that the retargeting messages can be sent properly
- For users who have purchased EC plan and completed the integration with GA(UA), and GA(UA) should have enhanced e-commerce, and Product Adds to Cart with data. Check as follows.
- Go to GA(UA)
- Click Conversions > Ecommerce > Product Performance on the left sidebar
- Click on Shopping Behavior above
- Check if there are data for Product Adds to Cart and if there is corresponding data for each product
- For users who have purchased EC plan and completed the integration with GA4, and GA4 should have enhanced e-commerce, and E-commerce purchases with data. Check as follows.
- Go to GA4
- Click Life cycle > Monetization > E-commerce purchases on the left sidebar
- Click on "Shopping Behavior" above
- Check if there are data for "Adds-to-Carts" and if there is corresponding data for each product
- Links setting in action area already be set up with UTM
- Friends need to click on the link from mobile devices, the actions cannot be tracked from desktop devices.
- After a friend clicks on a link, check the link that if it has utm_term (this is a parameter that MAAC automatically brings in to track the behavior of the friend with this action). Example: https://www.cresclab.com/utm_campaign=tracelink_211104&utm_source=line&utm_medium=message&utm_term=lm%3A5
▶︎ List and Performance
- After sending, you can see the results of each one in the list, which will show the click-through rate, orders, and revenue.
- Use the export button to export data for a specific time period.
- Click on Settings to go to the settings to set the retargeting interval, sleep mode, etc. and adjust the settings.
- Click on the report icon for a specific push to view detailed data
- The detailed data will show the number of items added to the shopping cart.
- You can open the message preview to check the information setting of the retargeting messages.
- Set the time period and click "Export" to export the detailed report.
