💁🏻♀️ The purpose of the MAAC - OpenAPI LINE Push Messages integration tool
-
Stage 1: Enable the automation marketing tool to call the MAAC for LINE push message notifications, such as "Shopping Cart Reminder," "Abandoned Browsing Reminder," "Repurchase Reminder," and "Birthday Gift Reminder," and more.
-
Stage 2: Send back information regarding whether specific messages were opened or clicked and the behavior labels from LINE to the database of the automation marketing tool. This allows for interaction with members who are not reached through LINE by other communication methods via automation marketing tools (e.g., SMS, Email, website, app push, web push, etc.). The behavior labels from LINE can be used as user segments for the automation marketing tool.

- Navigate to API > API token.
- Click the "Get token" button.
- Setting up message templates (template ID) within MAAC.
- Brands can independently create message templates within the MAAC backend. (📚 Review:
- Configure the relevant settings according to the automation marketing platform used by your brand.
▶︎ Example:
MAAC Backend Message Templates and MAAC OPEN API - [Single Message Push]
- Taking Insider as an example, after obtaining the message template (Template ID), enter the Insider backend to configure various parameter names.

▶︎ Where to find the click data for short links
Short links are bound to the Template ID of the message, so their click data can be reviewed in the MAAC message performance report: https://maac.cresclab.com/apibroadcast
The link details in that report list the performance of each individual short link:
- Clicks: previously fixed at 0, they now show the actual number of clicks.
- Two columns are added: "Unique clicks" and "Items added to cart". Unique clicks are calculated by MAAC from short-link click records and do not require a GA connection.
- The link details list every short link in the message, including links that no one has clicked yet.
The OpenAPI interface and integration are unchanged; this update only adjusts the data source and presentation of the report.
