➤ Plan Availability
MAAC Users to whom the new price structure applies from October 2021 can use coupons, LINE Points, vouchers, game tix, and brand coupons; if MAAC users are still under the old price structure, only coupons, LINE Points are applicable, and other coupon types will have to purchase in addition.
▶︎ Types of Prize Management
- Coupon: Coupons can be used with most e-commerce brands, and the coupon name, button name, and button image are customizable. You can tag friends who have claimed Prizes.
- LINE points: LINE Points can be used with all brands that have purchased points. Clicking on “redeem” will lead directly to the redemption page.
- Voucher: Vouchers can be used with offline physical stores and are similar to native LINE Vouchers. You will need to go through store staff to click on “redeem”, and you can choose whether to generate a bar code to be scanned at the store.
- Game tixs: You must have purchased additional APP marketing modules. You can select specific target audience groups to whom to distribute the Game tixs.
- Brand coupon: Brand coupon will allow you to customize text, images, etc. using the editor and create various custom contents.
💡 Reminder:
- If the Prize management is used with the “Rapid referral”, please separate the prize with the official and tested version of the “Rapid referral” to avoid the number of prizes in the “Rapid referral” is not consistent with the number of prize in the Prize management. It may cause customer complaints.

➤ Coupon
- You can view existing prizes on the prize management page. Click on the upper right corner to create a prize and upload new prize content.
- Selecting “coupon” as the prize will allow you to opt to upload a code pack or set a fixed code. If you opt for a code pack, codes will be assigned in sequence to each LINE friend.
- Set the prize validity date and tag, and friends who have successfully claimed prizes will be automatically tagged.
- Set the button name, prize image, rule, etc.
- Set the button link, which can be a link to an official website or e-commerce store. If you have the MAAC EC plan, you can set up UTM to track the conversion performance.
➤ LINE Points
- As with the steps for Coupons, create a prize and set the prize name, validity, prize image, successful claim tag, and rule.

You must upload the LINE points codes. Clicking on “click here to redeem” will jump straight to the LINE points claim page.
💡 Reminder: Please purchase the text code format from LINE or an agent. Please also be reminded not to use the same code for promotions during different time periods to avoid repeat distributions and customer complaints.
➤ Vouchers
- As with the steps for Coupons, create a prize and set the prize name, validity, prize image, successful claim tag, and rule.
- You can choose to opt to upload a code pack or set a fixed code. If you opt for a code pack, codes will be assigned in sequence to each LINE friend.
- If you need to scan the bar code to redeem a prize, please check the box that says “Display redeem button”. If there is no need to scan a bar code, you do not need to check the box.

When redeeming a prize, a button that needs to be manually clicked on to verify will appear. Please communicate with the store staff and be sure to click on the redemption verification button.
💡 Reminder: Voucher formats currently supported by bar code - If you need to scan a bar code for verification, please confirm it is supported by the POS scanner. The default is Code128, and the following formats are also supported.
The character limit is 32 characters (please use URL safe characters). The MAAC system will not check whether it includes a check digit. It will work as long as POS scanners can read it.

➤ Game tixs
If you opt for Game tixs as the prize, you can promote games after certain conditions have been met through ways such as specific target audience promotion, filling out forms to play games, and completing member binding to play games.
- First, go to APP marketing > One of Game Interaction Features to create the game you want to connect.
- As with the steps for Coupons, create a prize and set the prize name, validity, prize image, successful claim tag, and rule.
- If you use Game tixs together with Game Interaction Features, the total number of times a friend can play the game = number of plays from Game tixs + the number of plays from the game interaction features setting.
For example, The Game tix is set to allow 1 play per person, and the game interaction features are set to allow 1 play per person. This way, the user will be allowed to play the game 2 times. Therefore, if you wish to limit the friend to play the game only once, set the Game tix to 1 play and the game interaction features to 0 plays.
🚨 Attention: It is recommended not to use game coupons together with the game mechanism “draws daily”, avoiding friends to start the game from the game coupon after the game reset time, and lose the original number of games gained. (Reminder: MAAC does not provide a list of failed attempts)
➤ Brand Coupons
- As with the steps for Coupons, create a prize and set the prize name, validity, prize image, successful claim tag, and rule.
- Open “edit message” to set the prize as a string of text or images, e.g. you can distribute wallpapers and text as prizes or request users to reply with personal data and other information.
🚨 Attention: It will send this message after the followers click "Click to redeem". This message will cost the money of one message!
▶︎ List and Performance
- On the Prize management list, you can view the status of different prizes, uploaded code, claimed number, and the number of prizes redeemed. There is a search box, you can search for prizes with names.
- On the right side of the prize name, will show the status of each prize, like valid, expired.
- The uploaded code shows your prize code numbers. If you use a code pack, it shows how many your codes are. If you use fixed code, then a dash “-” is shown.
- The number of claimed numbers is how many prizes are already claimed by friends.
- The number of redeemed numbers is how many prizes are already redeemed by friends.
- Click the right edge side of the prize, there are two icons, click the right one, you can check the details report and export the list of the prize. And click the left one, you can edit or delete the prize.
- Click on the upper right corner button “Export” to export the detailed information. If you use a code pack to set up the prize. You will see “Add / Delete code”, It can let you add new codes, or delete existing codes.
➤ What is the “attributed” status?
The “attributed” status only appears if prizes were distributed through “rapid referral” or “ game interaction(5 types)” features. This means that a follower has won a prize and the system has attributed the prize to the particular user, only the follower has yet to click on the button to collect the prize. Therefore, if the prize already shows an “attributed” status, it means it has already been attributed to a particular follower, and it is not advisable to reuse already attributed prizes.
At this point, the report data will show the following:
- Claimed = Number of Prizes claimed + Number of prizes redeemed
- Redeemed = Number of prizes redeemed
🚨 Attention:
- The Prize management list and overall performance data are updated every one hour. However, after entering into individual prizes, the listed claim data will be updated in real-time.
- If you opt for fixed codes, it will not be possible to limit the number of codes, but it will be possible to upload the same codes using a CSV file through the upload code pack.
For example: If I wish to upload 500 Crescendo 100 codes, I will need to list 500 Crescendo 100 entries on a CSV file and upload it to MAAC using the upload code pack.
- At the moment, it is not possible to limit each user to only one claim. It can only be done on the official brand website or e-commerce platform.
- The system will not block the upload of duplicate prize codes. Before uploading the codes, please be sure to confirm if the code has already been uploaded before.
- Please ensure that there is a sufficient number of prizes to avoid customer complaints. If there are not enough prizes, the message “All prizes already have been claimed” will be shown.
▶︎ Setting - How to combine prizes and other features?
- In MAAC, select broadcast, auto-reply, customer journey, and other features with content editing functions.
- Select “Prizes” under the message module of the editor. You can select a created prize from the list. If you click on “create a prize”, the page will lead you to the Prize management page to create it.
