Deeplink can help you identify the most effective channel that attracts friends to join your LINE OA, whether it is online (Facebook, Instagram, EDM, official website...) or offline (store, counter, sign, DM...)  etc., deeplink can help to track the channels effectively!

💁🏻‍♀️ Advantages

• Create different deeplink for different channels to generate specific link or QR code
• Provide different message for new member and existing member
• Use deeplink as special event's entrance
• Can immediately use the generated link or QR code as specific channel entrance

▶︎ Setting : Create single deeplink

1. After clicking "create" button on the upper right corner, enter deeplink's name and description (optional) 
2. Set up tags that can identify this channel (up to 10 tags maximum, friends will be tagged by these tags after joining this channel)
3. It is optional to enable “When members click the link again, messages will still be triggered“. If enable this checkbox, friends will receive the message several times based on how many times they click the link (LINE will charge fees for sending the message)
4. It is optional to turn on / off the toggle button to give different messages to new members (friends that never joined the OA) / existing members (friends that already joined the OA)
5. When turn on the toggle, click "Edit" to enter message editor and edit the message. Click "create" after complete editing the message.

▶︎ Setting : Create deeplink by batch (high speed)

By clicking the "Batch Management" button on the upper right corner, you can create, edit or export multiple deeplinks by batch. Features include : Batch create deeplinks, Batch edit existing deeplinks, Export deeplink setting files, Export deeplink QR code.

This article will mainly demonstrate the "Batch create deeplinks" feature, show you how to create deeplink by batch via uploading the CSV template file. Also we will explain the meaning of each CSV columns and show you the final output on MAAC. We hope this will help brands to understand how to  create multiple deeplinks at once in most efficient way!

1. Click "Batch Management" button

2. Choose "Batch create deeplinks"

3. Download the template file (CSV)

4. Fill out the template and click "Upload file"

5. Confirm the file format is accurate, and click "Create"
   

6. Check the upload result from "Notification" icon on the upper right conner

7. Click "More" to check the result status
   💡 Reminder： You can track the error message from here if the deeplink was failed to create
   

➤ Batch create deeplinks -CSV template explanation

1. name：enter deeplink's name

2. description：enter deeplink's description (optional) 

3. tag：Set up tags that can identify this channel (up to 5 tags maximum, system will automatically create new tag if there's no such tag in MAAC)

4. triggered_again：When members click the link again, messages will still be triggered. LINE will charge fee for sending the message.
   Instruction : enter TRUE if allow message be triggered again; enter FALSE if do not allow message be triggered again

5. new_member_message_switch ：new member message
   

6. new_member_message_template_id：new member message's template id
   

7. existing_member_message_switch：existing member message
   

8. existing_member_message_template_id：existing member message's template id

💡 Reminder：

- new_member_message_switch (new member message) & existing_member_message_switch（existing member message) : enter TRUE if enable new member message / existing member message; enter FLASE if disable new member message / existing member message.

- new_member_message_template_id (new member message's template id) & existing_member_message_template_id (existing member message's template id) : you need to create the message in "Template library" first, then copy and paste the template id into this column. Leave this column empty if you did not enable new member message / existing member message feature, or you can leave this column empty if you want to edit the message directly in the deeplinks message editor one by one.

➤ Batch create deeplinks - output demo

1. name：after upload the CSV file successfully, you can see that there's 4 deeplinks on this page that we previously filled in in the name column, along with the generated links and QR code
   

2. description：there is no description as we didn't fill in the description column in the CSV file

3. tag：the tags will automatically shows in this deeplink

   
4. triggered_again：as we filled in FALSE，this checkbox will not be checked

5. new_member_message_switch：as we filled in TRUE ，it will enable the new member message toggle button
   

   

6. new_member_message_template_id：When enter the message editor, you can see that the specific message template already shows up in here if we filled in the template id in CSV file
   

   

▶︎ Setting : Export by batch - high speed

1. Can use keyword to search for specific deeplink
   💡 Reminder： Keyword search is case sensitive. If the deeplink called "Test", you will not be able to found the deeplink if you use "test" to search
   
2. Can select single deeplink or multiple deeplink at once by checking the checkbox

🚨 Attention：

- If you use the message editor in deeplink to edit the message for new member / Existing member directly, you will see the "new_member_message_template_id、existing_member_message_template_id" column is empty. If you want these columns have template id, you have to download "Batch edit existing deeplinks" CSV template and fill in the template id in  "new_member_message_template_id、existing_member_message_template_id" column, then upload the file first, the template id will only shows up in the Export deeplink setting files

- Export deeplink setting files is CSV format

- Export deeplink QR code if Zip format

▶︎ Performance

1. Can use keyword to search for specific deeplink
   💡 Reminder： Keyword search is case sensitive. If your deeplink called "Test", you will not be able to found the deeplink if you use "test" to search.
   
2. Each deeplink performance will shows "Total clicks" and "Acquired members"
3. Duplicate the link or download the QR code from the icons attach beside the link. Can insert the link or QR code into online / offline channels. You can also use "Batch management" to export multiples links or QR code at once.
4. Click the report icon to see the detailed performance result 6-8 of the deeplink
   
5. Click the ⋯ icon to edit or archive the deeplink
   💡 Reminder： Deeplink can only be archived instead of delete
   
   
6. Enter the performance page, can adjust the performance calendar to check for deeplink's performance in specific periods
7. Hover the mouse on histogram to see the acquired members counts for new / existing member
8. Open the message preview to see the message of the deeplink

▶︎ Precautions

• When a new member's message is triggered at the first time, it is free; conversely, the existing member's message will be charge from LINE whether it is first time being triggered or above
• If you want to use the MAAC generated link in any campaign, please copy and paste it directly to the channel you want to expose, the link will be invalid if mixed with other characters
• Please use below 2 methods to import the CSV file to prevent garbled or invaliding data : 
  
  • method 1： Convert the file to UTF8 format if you use Excel, then import the file into MAAC
  • method 2 : Download the CSV template, import to google excel first and fill in the form, then export to CSV format and import it into MAAC

• When a user clicks a Deeplink on a mobile device, it will be counted as a valid click.

  Clicks on a desktop that display a QR code will not be counted, to avoid duplicate tracking.

📊 How to Read Click Stats from Deeplinks

When analyzing traffic performance, keep in mind the difference between daily and multi-day stats:

• Daily users: Unique users who clicked the redirect link on a specific day. Useful for tracking daily engagement.

• Multi-day (period total) users: Unique users across the entire date range. A person is only counted once, even if they visit multiple times.

👉 Reminder:

Do not add up daily user counts to calculate the total. This will overestimate due to repeat visits.

▶︎ What message will friend receive when they joined the OA through deeplink?

• Senario 1 : New member 
  new member that never joined the OA before, will received new member's "Welcome message" from MAAC and LINE OA platform (if you set both welcome message on both systems). And the "New member" message set up in the deeplink.
  
  
• Senario 2 : Existing member 
  existing member will received "Existing member" message set up in the deelink.

• Senario 3 : blocked member 
  1. blocked member click / scan the deeplink in the first time:
     same with new member, blocked member will received new member's "Welcome message" from MAAC and LINE OA platform (if you set both welcome message on both systems). And the "New member" message set up in the deeplink.
     
     
  2. blocked member click / scan the deeplink second time or above : 
     
     • If you didn't check the "When members click the link again, messages will still be triggered" checkbox : the blocked member will not receive any deeplink message, will only received new member's "Welcome message" from MAAC and LINE OA platform (if you set both welcome message on both systems)
     • If you checked the "When members click the link again, messages will still be triggered" checkbox : the blocked member will receive deeplink's new member message, new member's "Welcome message" from MAAC and LINE OA platform (if you set both welcome message on both systems)
