With CAAC’s Tag Management feature, you can centrally manage all tags, allowing customer service teams to maintain and update tags directly during conversations. This helps prevent tag clutter and ensures cleaner data for downstream analysis and applications.
You can perform the following actions:
- Centrally manage all tag names
- Correct incorrect or duplicate tags
- Export tag data for review and organization
# Tag Management
Please follow the path below to access the Tag Management page: Click “Settings” → “Tag Management”.
1. Create Tags
Click “Create Tag”, enter the new tag name, and save to complete the creation.
👉 You can also create a new tag directly from a contact profile in the chat room and apply the tag to that contact at the same time.
⚠️ If a tag with the same name already exists in the system, you will not be able to create a new one.
2. Edit and Delete Tags
After creating a tag, you can edit the tag name at any time.
Once edited, the tag name will be updated automatically for all contacts who have this tag applied.
If you delete a tag:
• The tag will be removed from all contacts
• The tag will also be deleted from the Tag Management center
⚠️ This action cannot be undone. Please confirm the impact before proceeding.
3. Number of Tagged Contacts
On the Tag Management page, you can view the number of contacts in CAAC that have been assigned each tag.
⚠️ This number is updated hourly and is not real-time. If “–” is displayed, it means the tag was newly created and the tagged contact count has not yet been calculated.
4. Export Tags
Click “Export” to download CAAC tag data in CSV format. The file includes the following fields: Tag ID, Tag Name, Number of Tagged Contacts, Created Time, and Last Updated Time.
⚠️ The timestamps in the exported file are in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), not the local time displayed in the CAAC interface.
